I Just Wasn’t Made for These Times is the 1995 album that served as the soundtrack to the acclaimed documentary of the same name, which chronicled Wilson's tumultuous life and legendary career.  The documentary was directed by Don Was.
 
The album consists of Brian covering some Beach Boys classics like, “Caroline, No” (Pet Sounds), “Do It Again” (20/20), “The Warmth of the Sun” (Shut Down, Vol. 2) and “Let the Wind Blow” (Wild Honey). 
 
The album was co-produced by Don Was and Brian Wilson.
This first repress since 2012 was mastered by Kevin Reeves at East Iris Studios, Nashville, TN.
